Career Exploration & Job Opportunities
VCW and our Youth providers can help you to explore your interests and skills while educating you about what occupations are in demand now and which ones are projected to be in demand tomorrow. If we know that employers in our area are looking for skilled workers, we are often training individuals to work in those occupations and industries.
High School Equivalent (HSE) Diploma Assistance
VCW and out Youth providers partner with local Danville Area Community College Adult Education to assist students in HSE classes with the costs for the testing. Tutoring and mentoring may also be provided to help guide students towards career pathways.
